Wickety Wak

Wickety Wak is a comedic show band which started in 1975 at The Kuraby Hotel doing parodies of other artists, notably Louis Armstrong, Kermit The Frog, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton. In 1982 Wickety Wak had a top 10 hit with their single "Moonlight Marvel". During the 1980s Wickety Wak made 14 television specials for BTQ channel 7. In 1988 Wickety Wak were ambassadors for Expo88 in Brisbane. Wickety Wak disbanded in 1990, by agreement of the members. Wickety Wak re-formed in 2006 for the Gympie Music Muster. Some of the members continued perform thereafter. The original members are Greg Doolan, Rob Rosenlund, Tony Jeffrey, Peter Mackay and deceased Pahnie Jantzen (birth name Pani Gilbert, born 19 April 1939 - died 28 March 2013).〔
